We just returned from the Society of Canary & Finch Breeders Bird Show. It was our first show that we entered our birds in... It was a wonderful weekend, very educational, and very rewarding! We entered two of our Lineolated Parakeets in the show and they made us so proud.

First in their Class category :
Gidget received 1st place
Gizmo received 2nd place

In Section category
Gidget received 3rd Best in Section
Gizmo received 2nd Best Novice in section

In Division:

Gidget received 9th place over all!

Not to bad for first timers! But all the credit has to go to the Linnie's!
They did so good Gizmo's downfall was he wanted to play... but that's OK...he will learn.

Show News from Elmhurst Bird show 11/3/07:

We went to the 76th Annual Cage Bird Exhibition in Elhhurst IL, this past weekend.
We did very well, it was another well planned event. We met a lot of very nice bird people. I do not think we are going to make it to the International show in Denver.
But we can not wait for next years competitions, not that we have tested the water.
We are very proud of the birds we have, We think they have done a really good job at the shows. We are so excited to see what happens next year.

This show I entered two Lineolated Parakeets here is how they did:

Lineolated Parakeets:  Judge Al Decoteau

Gidget Creamino hen:

1st in Novice Class

2nd in Section

5th best in Sub-Division

And Honorable Mention in Best in Show


Gadget Turquoise Male:

2nd in Novice Class


Then Joe show some of his Glosters at this show, he did very well.
